Into the Gore – “Bureau of Disgust”

Into the Gore, probably the most mind-blowing grindcore troupe to ever come out of Greece , are no more. “Bureau of Disgust”, the band’s last will, bears indisputable testimony to their sonic greatness. 17 tracks recorded back in 2003, 17 fierce, politically-motivated punches in the face of a society that’s rewarding us lavishly with disgust.

The work in question finds the band in peak form, tearing everything into shreds.

Equipped with remarkable grit and a genuine, creative urge, Into the Gore dish out some tight and dynamic, old-school grindcore.

Howling, interchanging, double, high-pitched, low-pitched vocals communicate disillusion, self-awareness and discontent over grinding guitars and a manic, yet groovy rhythm section that moves at break-neck speed.

Into the Gore echo what has come before, yet their ferocious drive and heartfelt approach make them rise above the wishy-washy and harmless, latter-day grind pack.

Striking, vomit-friendly artwork comes to dress the special digipack in the most beseeming way.

Ace.
